To celebrate the first ever Philly Tech Week, come out to WHYY for a gala event, where technology community leaders will be honored, a couple notable regional leaders will speak to the importance of innovation and, yes, there will be an open bar and light refreshments.

City of Philadelphia Managing Director Rich Negrin will speak about the future of online transparency and technology-infused good government initiatives in city government.

Taking place at the Dorrance H. Hamilton Public Media Commons at WHYY,
more than 200 technology community leaders will attend the Philly Tech Week Signature event.

Attending will be all of Philly Tech Week’s sponsors, event organizers and Technically Philly community members, making it the largest and most diverse gathering of the city’s technology community. On hand will be representatives from the city government, the city’s entrepreneurial community, IT professionals, startups and online media workers. We have several notable keynote speakers tentatively
scheduled. More details to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
