Come join us to meet and learn more about OpenDataPhilly.org, a first-of-a-kind online catalog of data about our city.
Throughout the Philadelphia region and beyond, a multitude of government agencies, nonprofit organizations and academic institutions have assembled data pertaining to their activities and the communities they serve. While these datasets contain valuable information, they exist in disparate formats and locations. OpenDataPhilly will provide better access to this plethora of Philadelphia-specific datasets through an easy-to-use online catalog. Learn about what is accessible and how you can use the data to inform the public about our region's trends and increase government accountability.
The project is led by Azavea, which is creating the data catalog, with support from the City’s Division of Technology, Technically Philly and WHYY.
Light refreshments will be provided by Azavea.
